The difference between XML and HTML files

Source: Internet
Author: User
HTML file

title

entry

entry 2

entry 3

XML file

<root>
<items>

title

entry

entry 2

entry 3

</items>

Difference:
1, the markup in the HTML is specific, each tag has a specific meaning, and the markup in the XML can be completely defined by the user.
2, HTML tags are mainly used to explain the way data display, such as color, italic, bold, and so on, and XML only care about the content of the data, do not care about how the data is displayed.
