Fault symptom:
The program cannot be installed in the Windows 8 App Store. After you click download, the program cannot be downloaded and installed normally and is suspended.
As shown in the following figure:
Cause analysis:
When the application is suddenly forced to close, the program cannot fully store the data, and the results may cause damage to the files used by the program at that time. When the program starts again and the damaged files are not deleted, the damaged files will affect the normal functions of the program. Some software detects a damaged file and then automatically repairs or deletes the file to ensure the normal operation of the software, but some software does not have this function.
In Windows 8, if the app store is forcibly suspended due to power failure or other reasons at the beginning of download, there is a probability that the app store may fail or be suspended in half. This can be solved by clearing the cache file. However, this method does not apply to the failure of installation because the system files in the App Store are damaged. Of course, this method cannot be started at this time.
Solution:
1. Clear the cache folder C: WindowsSoftwareDistributionDownload (if the folder cannot be deleted, restart and delete it, or add the everyone permission before deleting it );
2. Log out of the computer and re-enter the store to download it.
