The Local area network sharing method described here is done using Windows Professional's own Internet share.
Computers that are installed on the Internet (such as the MODEM,TA,XDSL class modem, etc.) will provide a "shared" option in the network properties of the computer that is connected directly to the Internet device. If you choose to enable Internet Connection Sharing for this connection in the shared options, you can basically complete the settings for sharing the Internet.
The general steps include:
1. Installation of the Internet hardware equipment and related drivers;
2. Confirm that the Internet equipment is working normally under single operation;
3. The computers on the LAN are installed with TCP/IP protocol;
4. Connectivity between all computers is normal;
5. Open with the Internet device directly connected to the computer network properties of the sharing options.
This article takes the modem access as an example, introduces the setting method concretely:
Right-click to open the property entry for My Network Places on the desktop. In addition to creating a new connection, you will see that there are two connections: one is a local connection, the network card is used for this machine, and the other is the connection of the Internet device, in this case, the 163 connection using modem.
