The new Ubuntu community committee was selected

The new ubuntucommunitycouncer has been selected. MarkShuttleworth, founder and initiator of Ubuntu, selects 7 out of 12 candidates. New members include: DanielHolbach (Germany), incluweast (UK), MikeBasinger (US), BenjaminMakoHill (US), AlanPope (UK) andRic. New members include Daniel Holbach (Germany), Matthew East (UK), Mike Basinger (US), Benjamin Mako Hill (US), and Alan Pope (UK) and Richard Johnson (US ). another and only female member is the Debian system administrator Elizabeth Krumbach (US ). she has served Ubuntu since and is also a member of Ubuntu-Women. According to Shuttleworth, the new Committee is about to start working immediately.

The Community Committee adopted IRC every two weeks to determine "Community policy and Ubuntu project structure ". They are also groups that review and approve document changes. The Council has a two-year term.
