Tips: assign multiple permissions to files in Linux

The first method is simple: assign group permissions to files and put users in this group. this applies to simple permission assignment. The second method is to use ACL: this requires ACL support, edit etc

The second method is to use ACL:

This requires ACL support. edit/etc/fstab and add the acl to the corresponding file system parameters, for example:

LABEL =/home ext3 defaults, acl 1 2

(After being enabled, the file system needs to be remounted). Then, use setfacl to set the permission and use getfacl to view the permission. For more information, see Help or man.
