Tips for setting firefox2 in ubuntu

How to open an address on the new tab:
1) in the browser taskbar, enter: about: config
2) Find browser. link. open_newwindow and set its value to 3;
Find browser. link. open_new1_1_restrictio and set it to 0.
3) Restart Firefox.

Actually:
1) browser. link. open_newwindow has three optional parameters:
1: open in the current Tab
2: open in New window (default)
3: open on the new Tab page

2) browser. link. open_new1_1_restriction also has three parameters:
0: the open mode is the same as browser. link. open_newwindow.
1: open in New window
2: The open mode is the same as that of browser. link. open_newwindow, unless the open attribute is set for the link (default)

How to open a new tab in the background:
Open about: config in the address bar
Find browser. tabs. loadDivertedInBackground. The default value is false. After double-clicking, the value becomes true.
Restart firefox. If you try it, you will find that the link addresses are all opened in the background.
