ZigBee Alliance is a leader in the global revolution in the Internet of things, creating an era of control. 2. Membership Level

The Alliance offers 3 types of membership for everyone to choose from, each of which has different rights.

• Adopted by:
  A final approved specification document is available, allowing the use of the ZigBee member logo, the participation rights of the Affiliate international activities, the documentation of the standard work/task group, and development activities.

• Participants:
  Have the right to attend all meetings, work/task groups and members of the Union. In the Working Group there is the right to vote, to be able to get the league standard earlier and the monk in the draft specification document.

• Drivers:
  All working groups have the right to vote for that, with the final approval of all standards and permanent board members.

All members of the alliance can enjoy the market results of the alliance in the global promotion of ZigBee standards.

4. FAQ 4.1 Does my company want to develop ZigBee products for sale and need to be a member of the alliance?

Any use of the ZigBee brand (name, trademark, interoperability logo) is required to become a member of the ZigBee Alliance. In addition, the product requires ZigBee certification, or participation in the formulation of standards and specifications.

4.2 I am a ZigBee member of the subcontractor, need to become a member of the alliance?

No need. If you enter into a sub-contract with a member, you do not need to join the ZigBee Alliance.

4.3 I am a homeowner using ZigBee products, end users, academic institutions, students, installers, need to become a member of the alliance?

No need. Only using ZigBee or ZigBee-based products is not required to join the alliance.

4.4 If I use a ZigBee module in my company's product, do I need to be a member of the alliance?

The use of Alliance intellectual property does not require membership in alliances. But we recommend that you join in and get more benefits.

4.5 My company is a distributor, reseller or retailer of ZigBee products, do I need to be a member?

There is no mandatory requirement to join the alliance. But we recommend that you join in and get more benefits.

4.6 When to join the alliance?

It is recommended to join the alliance before the product is sold. The earlier you join, you can get the latest ZigBee updates, learn about cutting-edge technical information, benefit from affiliate campaigns, and get the legal power to use the ZigBee brand for product sales.

If your company develops ZigBee products using custom profiles, the federation requires a unique, private profile ID to ensure a harmonious coexistence with other Members ' products. 4.7 Who can use the ZigBee name and logo?

' ZigBee ' and our logos are registered trademarks of the Federation, and each of our published standards and logos are trademarks of our own.
