Android's charm is not just in mobile phones or tablet PCs, you can even get the entertainment experience of Android by using a USB disk that is sized to connect to a TV or a monitor with an HDMI interface. Over the past year, we've seen the rapid development of such products, from MK802 to dual-core RK3066 with Android 4.0 systems and single core processors, and now the first quad-core processor Zealz GK802 has come to us. The Zealz GK802 also has a mini volume and delivers a more high-performance processor, providing a seamless Android system experience. However, it also has some minor problems with poor compatibility, requiring follow-up patching, and here's a look at its detailed usage experience.
Zealz GK802 main parameter information:

Exterior design and interface
Zealz GK802 used the black matte plastic and metal body, the texture is good, perhaps the most sophisticated Android mini computer. Its weight is only 51 grams, the fuselage size is not more than the common U disk most of the whole is still very lightweight and portable, the fuselage at the bottom of the design of a number of heat-filled holes with modern sense.
Front of the fuselage, you can see a standard HDMI interface for connecting LCD TVs or monitors; the rear of the fuselage is designed with a standard USB interface and a MICRO-USB interface that can be used to connect to a USB hub to use the mouse keyboard and other peripherals. On the right side of the fuselage, it also has a MICRO-SD memory card slot, which supports 64GB capacity expansion.
We try to connect the Zealz GK802 with the LCD TV, the operation is very simple, the device can also start normally. Zealz GK802 is not built into the battery, if you do not use the attached AC power supply for the fuselage, can also be powered by the MICRO-USB, but at least to maintain the output power of 2 amps to work properly. In addition, you may not be able to simultaneously power the mouse keyboard and other peripherals.
Similar to other Android devices, Zealz GK802 does not have a switch to connect to the system directly, so the shutdown also needs to be done through the system or directly unplug AC power. Zealz GK802 takes 30 seconds to get into the Android 4.0.4 system and does not have a boot setup process, you need to go into setup, connect WiFi, and log in to Google accounts. With Google account enabled, Gmail, play stores and other Google services can be used.
Andr OID System Experience
Zealz GK802 is equipped with the Android 4.0.4 system, not the latest Android 4.2, so there is no way to use Google Now, voice search and other advanced features. Because it uses the Freescale I.MXQ chipset, no updated system push has been received at this time. Interface, Zealz GK802 uses a completely native effect, almost in line with other Android tablets, with virtual navigation buttons and a status bar at the bottom of the screen, which allows you to arrange your application's desktop and a standard application menu. If you are not connected to a physical keyboard, you will need to use the mouse to click on the virtual keyboard to implement the input.
Because Zealz GK802 does not have a touch screen, some applications that have specific requirements for touch operations can be awkward to use. After installing the mouse, you can press and hold the left mouse button to move the page left and right, if you need to enable the menu function, you can long press the icon or button, right-click is the return function.
Zealz GK802 is equipped with the most basic pre-installed applications, such as calculators, calendars, tape recorders and Gmail, and the beta version also has a fish-fishing casual game built for free downloads. In addition, there is a systempanel software that looks at System information to display available memory and a list of running applications, which is also equipped with the Android version of the stock browser.
The good news is that Zealz GK802 pre-installed the Google Play store, but the bad news is that many apps in the store will show "incompatible" and give a "your device is not compatible with this version of" error message, not normal download. In our tests, we encountered this situation many times, including some basic applications such as Netflix, the Hare-Hare review, and even Google Chrome.
To be fair, we tested other vendors ' app stores, including the Amazon market, to basically download content, or you can download content via web-side apps such as handango.com; Or you can use a PC or other Android device to download applications to the Zealz GK802, just slightly more cumbersome.
Media playback and resolution
Zealz GK802 is our first test to support 1080P resolution of the Android Mini computer, although the system default output resolution of 720P, but can change, more powerful hardware performance can smooth support 1080P output. In 1080P mode, we have a full HD version of the movie trailer, there is no cotton phenomenon, you can see the details on the screen, the character's face is very delicate. But when we try to play 4K resolution video, Zealz GK802 although it can play, but the cotton phenomenon is serious, do not have ornamental value.
Although some applications do not support 1080P output, streaming media applications like Netflix and YouTube are perfect, and when we use Netflix to play "Tomb Raider" movies, the characters are fluent and clear, and the details are excellent.
