Ubuntu AlienwareX51 game PC released

Dell's Alienware brand officially launched the Compact game PCX51 in May, last January. This product was first pre-installed with the Windows 7 operating system. Later, after the launch of Windows 8, the pre-selection service for the above two operating systems is introduced to users. Now, Dell once again provides users with the third pre-Installation option & mdash; Ubuntu operating system. Dell said in its official blog today that the Ubuntu operating system has been officially preinstalled with the AlienwareX51 operating system.

Dell said in its official blog today,The Ubuntu operating system has become one of the Alienware X51 preinstalled Operating System OptionsThis is the first time that the company has provided Linux support services for Alienware products.

In terms of hardware configuration, Alienware X51 still provides users with four different configuration models.The minimum model price is USD 599 (about RMB 3713), CarryingIntel Core i3-3220Processors andNVIDIA GeForce GTX645Independent graphics card,6 GB dual-channel DDR3 1600 memory.

The price of the top-end model is USD 1049 (about RMB 6500), CarryingIntel Core i7-3770Processors andNVIDIA GeForce GTX660Independent graphics card,8 GB dual-channel DDR3 1066 memory.

In terms of software functions, users can use the Ubuntu Application Center to obtain a large number of free software and play games through the Steam for Linux platform.
