Ubuntu and later the Canonical system will support mobile Modem

Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn will be released in October 23, 2014 this year, and the Canonical operating system will support mobile modem as appropriate starting from Ubuntu14.10.

At present, the Ubuntu system does not properly support mobile modem, but this problem will be solved soon, the developer has confirmed that the usb_modeswitch_dispatcher and USB-modeswitch will be synchronized from the Debian unstable version with Ubuntu14.10, even though Ubuntu 14.10 has been frozen by software.

It should be noted that both Ubuntu 14.10 and Ubuntu touch and Ubuntu mobile phone systems are developed by Canonical. Ubuntu 14.10 will be an interesting version, and Unity will have two versions: Use X.org to display the Unity 7 desktop of the service, and use MIR to display the server's Unity8, unity 8 is currently only used for Ubuntu touch.
