Ubuntu installs 2.10.x version of Scala

The default Scala version of Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS is 2.9, and the latest version of spark-1.3 requires a minimum version of the Scala version of 2.10.x, first using apt-get remove Scala to clean up the old version of Scala on the machine. Download http://www.scala-lang.org/download/2.10.5.html Scala in this location,

Finally, edit the ~/.BASHRC, setting the following environment variables:

Export path=/home/zhangchao3/spark-evn/scala-2.10. 5/bin: $PATHexport scala_home=/home/zhangchao3/spark-evn/scala-2.10. 5

As you can see, the Scala version is 2.10.
