Jono Bacon of Canonical has shared some new details about developers working on platform acceleration in Florida last week, including SDK and security teams, as well as desktop and design stakeholders. These developers focus on the next generation platform of Ubuntu. On many blogs, they can find detailed designs on the next generation platform, including:
- Better integration of HTML5 applications;
- Using JavaScript's complete Ubuntu platform API;
- A complete simulator is tested by the Ubuntu SDK and runs on smartphones and tablets;
- In the next month, the Ubuntu SDK will support Google's programming language and Qt QML.
