Ubuntu replaces the Java environment with the version of OPENJDK in the tar version of the JDK

1. Place your tar version of the JDK

2. Run the command:

sudo gedit ~/.BASHRC

To set the environment variable with gedit edit ~/.BASHRC:

Export Java_home=/your/path/to/jdkexport jre_home= $JAVA _home/jreexport classpath=.: $JAVA _home/lib: $JRE _home/ Libexport Path=${java_home}/bin: $PATH

3. Run the command:

sudo update-alternatives--install/usr/bin/java java/your/path/to/jdk/bin/java 300sudo update-alternatives--install /usr/bin/javac Javac/your/path/to/jdk/bin/javac 300

4. Run the command to select your tar version of the JDK as prompted:

sudo update-alternatives--config java
