I have checked many methods on the Internet that mount iso first and then use the sources. list Method of gedit, but none of them fail. The following is my method to successfully make the iso software Source: 1. Add the iso File Source: sudomount-tiso9660-oloop *. iso/media/apt note: the mount point/media/apt does not exist. It seems that I have encountered such a problem. The second input is okay. You can also create a mount point by yourself.
I have checked many methods on the Internet that mount iso first and then use the sources. list Method of gedit, but none of them fail.
The following describes how to successfully use iso as a software source:
1. Add the iso File Source: sudo mount-t iso9660-o loop *. iso/media/apt
Note: The mount point/media/apt does not exist. It seems that I have encountered such a problem. The second input is okay. You can also create a mount point by yourself.
*. Iso is a dvd file, including its path.
1.1 mount the source to/mnt: sudo mount-t iso9660-o loop *. iso/mnt
/Mnt for ios mounting and floppy disk mounting
Neither of the above two causes the iso to do the source failure. --! You can use umount to uninstall any of them, which will cause the source to fail.
Umount can be used to verify whether the iso source is successful!
2. Change sources. list: sudo gedit/etc/apt/sources. list:
Deb cdrom: [Ubuntu 11.04 _ Natty Narwhal _-Beta amd64( 20110413.1)]/natty main restricted
Deb file: // mnt natty main restricted
Of course, here I only leave ios as the source. All others are deleted.
Note: natty is version 11.04. Main restricted is the folder in the pool.
3. Update Source:
Sudo apt-cdrom-m add
Sudo apt-get update
