Ubuntu12.04 usage impressions

2: Great changes

I started the test when I started Ubuntu beta1. At that time, the startup interface of the CD had an option: Orchestra. By the time Beta2 was launched, a Maas was basically unavailable.

Maas is coming soon. Users cannot perform tests. It will be officially released. It is estimated that this version is also supported for a long time. It takes two years for some features to be integrated. Therefore, it can only be integrated.

3: Maas and juju

These two are one of the biggest features of Ubuntu 12.04. But I have not done either. It took almost one day.

Maas is a modified cobbler used to deploy the operating system. However, it seems that we can only deploy Ubuntu 12.04. In Maas, we don't see how to develop the OS.

Maas, which integrates all the machine's network wake-up operations. If Intel's node manage is integrated, or IPMI is turned on and off, it will be cooler. However, this estimate should be done by yourself.

JUJU is used to deploy software for configuration management. It seems that no one in China has ever played this thing successfully. I tried it last night and failed.

If that friend can solve maas and juju now and deploy openstack, it will be much more difficult. After May 1, go back to the test.

To test maas, at least three machines are required.

4: Orchestra

It seems that Ubuntu does not want to push Orchestra or give up.
