Originally, I used the Ubuntu10.04LTS Server. A few days ago, the HDD was a little faulty. The system was pregnant, and IT was about to eliminate the 80 GHDD. How can the company be so poor, I still use my computer as the server 7 or 8 years ago. Is IT really great for me ~~. Ubuntu12.04 is just release. How can we port the mysqldatabase of HDD to the new HDD? Phpmyadmin cannot be used, even if it is mounted to the old HDD,
I used Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server. The HDD was faulty a few days ago and the system was pregnant. I had to wait for an 80 GB HDD to be eliminated with IT. How can the company be so poor, I still use my computer as the server 7 or 8 years ago. Is IT really great for me ~~.
Ubuntu 12.04 is just release. How can we port the mysql database of HDD to the new HDD? You cannot use phpmyadmin. Even if you mount it to the old HDD, you cannot run mysql start to access the old database. Neither can I use mysqldump...
Google said to search for it in/var/lib/mysql. The Google gods are indeed very accurate. Very simple. Copy the entire database directory to the same directory of the new HDD. There are two problems in the process:
1: unable to enter the mysql directory. First, sudo su gets the root, and then cp
2: After cp reaches the directory of the new HDD, you need to go to chown chgrp. Otherwise, phpmyadmin will not see the table, but only the database.
