First install Likewise [plain] apt-get install likewise-open5 and then log on to the command line to test [plain] domainjoin-cli chn.company.com account_name note: 1. chn.company.com is a domain name, all lowercase 2. account_name is your account. my account is from an account that has been tested on a windows system, and I am a dual system (Windows + Ubuntu) 3. note the hostname, because I have logged on to the windows system first, and I chose the hostname as sloop. it is strange that I cannot use other computer names here, and I cannot use the same name, it must be sloop2. you can set it using the following command: domainjoin-cli setname sloop2 will modify the/etc/hostname file. Then, the command line logon succeeds. This is far from enough. I also need to: 1. log on with a windows domain account in the Ubuntu logon window. the domain account is also in sudoers. you can execute the root permission. now you also need to install samba [plain] apt-get install samba and then create the configuration file/etc/samba/lwiauthd. the conf file contains only one line: [plain] winbind use default domain = yes and then add a line to the/etc/sudoers file, see the last line below [plain] # Members of the admin group may gain root privileges % admin ALL = (ALL) ALL % chn \ domain ^ users ALL = (ALL) ALL chn is the front part of my domain name, domain ^ users... you do not need to modify it.
