Today, the Ubuntu 14.04 code "Trusty Tahr" is finally released. This version is a long-term support version that provides support and maintenance services over the past five years; the Ubuntu gnome version provides three years of support and maintenance services.
Major updates to Ubuntu 14.04:
-The default kernel is kernel 3.13.9;
-Click the starter icon to minimize the window;
-Partial comprehensive menu (this function is also used for GNOME 3.12 );
-The improvement dialog box is closed;
-Allows users to increase the volume by up to 200%;
-Supports rewriting of the title window in Unity 7;
-The Unity control center is replaced by the gnome control center;
-New default wallpapers and 11 other beautiful wallpapers (generated by the community vote );
-The logon screen and screen lock are already identical.
At the same time, several different versions are released: Ubuntu GNOME, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Edubuntu, Ubuntu Kylin, Ubuntu Cloud, and Ubuntu Studio.
