Because Gnome 3.14 is too close to Ubuntu 14.10 and cannot be tested for stability, Gnome 14.10 desktop environments will not be used in Ubuntu Gnome 3.14 official versions. However, you can use the following command to upgrade your trial (note that the following command applies to Ubuntu Gnome 14.10 users ):

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3-staging
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ricotz/testing
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
