Ubuntu8.04 solution to down-mouse failure

Virtualbox in Ubuntu8.04 is prone to the problem that the mouse cannot be detached from the virtual machine. Method 1: Install the scim-bridge-client-qt package. Sudoapt-getinstallscim-bridge-client-qt if not, try method 2. Method 2: Cancel automatic keyboard capture and then disable SCIM loading. You can release the mouse, although the icon at the bottom right of the window is dark.

Method 1:

Install the scim-bridge-client-qt package.

Sudo apt-get install scim-bridge-client-qt

If not, try method 2.

Method 2:

Cancel automatic keyboard capture first

Disable SCIM loading.

You can release the mouse, although the Mouse icon in the lower right of the window is dark

Disable SCIM loading:

1. Use im-switch-s none to set no input method. log out and log on again, so that scim will not be automatically started (note that the configuration modification during running of scim is invalid)

2 modify ~ /. Scim/config file, change/FrontEnd/X11/Dynamic false to/FrontEnd/X11/Dynamic true

3. Use im-switch-s scim to set the input method. log out and log on again. It should be normal.
