Ubuntu 8.10 has brought a lot of improvements and new features. Preliminary evaluations show that Ubuntu 8.10 is not inferior to Vista in terms of performance. User Experience and games are not considered for the moment. Compared with Windows Vista Business Edition, Ubuntu is faster to be installed on the same machine, and testing (such as multi-platform testing tool Geekbench, Vista scored 2838, ubuntu scored 3367) and scored higher, making it easier to manage wireless connections (after installation, you can only click twice to manage the wireless device console ), the start time is also slightly faster than Vista (Vista start time is 56 seconds, Ubuntu50 seconds ).
