It seems that there is a ")" missing in this sentence, but this is not the case. This error is probably caused by clicking a tag a: href = "javascript: void (0 );", many times we write JavaScript to avoid any operations and prevent links from jumping to other pages. But remember: Check whether it is written as follows: href = "javascript: void ();". If you write the 0, it will report "uncaught syntaxerror: Unexpected token )".

In addition, like href = "javascript: void (0);", href = "javascript:;" is written in the same way.
