Update the GTK library of redhat-general Linux technology-Linux programming and kernel information. The following is a detailed description. The working Linux environment is RH9, And the GTK library in it is too old to be updated to Gtk +-2.12.10.

Download the source code for installation. A total of 10 packages are installed, which are
Pkg-config_0.22.orig.tar.gz
Glib-2.16.4.tar.gz
Atk-1.22.0.tar.gz
Pango-1.20.5.tar.gz
Cairo-1.6.4.tar.gz
Libpng-1.2.29.tar.gz
Pixman-0.11.6.tar.gz
Fontconfig-2.6.0.tar.gz
Freetype-2.3.7.tar.gz
Gtk2017-2.12.10.tar.gz

Dependency:
Gtk + depends on glib, atk, pango, and cairo.
Install glib, depending on pkg-config
Atk and other dependent glib
Cairo depends on libpng, pixman, fontconfig
Fontconfig depends on freetype
The most annoying thing is that pango has been successfully installed, but when gtk + is installed, you are prompted to install pango dependent on cairo and reinstall pango.
