USB Mass storage device exclamation point is not displayed when the computer is inserted into a USB flash drive.

Error status

There is a yellow exclamation point in front of the USB Mass Storage Device in the Device Manager on my computer. How can this problem be solved? Double-click to open it. The hardware device cannot be used by Windows because it is "safely deleted". However, the device has not been deleted from the computer.

Cause analysis

You may have lost the camera driver, or there are other things on the USB that do not have a driver. Check whether the driver is a printer or camera.
If so, put the related CD into the CD and update your item with a yellow question mark.

Solution

1. Right-click "computer"-"manage ";

 

 

2. Click "device manager" and click "Universal Serial Bus Controller" with a yellow exclamation point.

 

 

3. Download the USB mass storage device driver. You can also use the driver genie:

 

 

4. Download the driver.

 

 

 

5. Go back to "Computer Management"-"USB mass storage device" and select "update driver ";

 

 

6. Select, as shown in the following figure, and click next;

 

 

 

 

7. Click browse to find the downloaded driver file;

 

 

8. Load the downloaded driver, select the downloaded folder, select "mydtloem. inf", and click open;

 

 

9. Click OK to wait for the loading to complete.

 

 

10. After loading successfully, press f5 to refresh and check that the exclamation point disappears.
