Download an image file for Ubuntu GNOME 14.04 beta, create a USB flash drive, and try it on your computer. You need to install many multimedia plug-ins in ubuntu.
First few:
First install a Chinese Input plug-in for Firefox
View Gnome shell version 3.10.4
View System Version 14.04
Connect to Wireless wifi
During the trial, the most troublesome surfing the Internet always prompts you to install the flash player Plug-in. I searched for the plug-in the software and found it. But there was no installation button. Is it not supported by the version, I found out on the official website of adobe that there is no ubuntu installation package. I only need to download a general package. In fact, the installation version is also very simple. Check the installation method online. The steps are as follows:
1. If you have any flash plug-ins, delete them first:
sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree gnash gnash-common mozilla-plugin-gnash nspluginwrapper swfdec-mozilla
Skip this step without an installed version.
2. Access ingress. Run the following command to download the latest flash plug-in and decompress it to the current directory.
wget http://download.macromedia.com/pub/labs ... .so.tar.gz && tar xvfz libflashplayer-10.0.32.18.linux-x86_64.so.tar.gz
3. Move the decompressed file to the firefox plug-in directory.
sudo mv libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
4. After completing the preceding steps, enter "about: plugins" in the address bar of Firefox to check whether the flash plug-in has been installed successfully.
That's easy!
