Use a graphic desktop to access the system

Use the graphic desktop access system-general Linux technology-Linux technology and application information. The following is a detailed description. Create a user account:
Adduser login-name (OS: Red Hat)
Useradd login-name (OS: SuSe)

Add a password to your account:
Passwd login-name (the password should contain a number and cannot be an English word)

End the logon program and start another logon instance: Ctrl + D

Start the graphic Window environment from the terminal:
Xinit & (UNIX)
Startx (Linux)

Start the desktop environment:
After the xinit command is used to start the X Window session, a concise character screen will appear. There are several graphical interfaces to choose from. If none of them can run, you can ask the system administrator. The command is as follows:
Gnome &
Kde & run the Komon desktop environment (KDE)
Mwm & start Motif Window Manager (Montif Window Manager)
Blackbox & an efficient and relatively small desktop program

Start Multiple Linux terminal sessions:
Ctrl + Alt + F2/F3/F4/F5/F6/F7/F8
Ctrl + Alt + F3 switch between active sessions
Ctrl + Alt + F7 can be used to start the graphic desktop, or F8
Ctrl + Alt + F1 return character terminals from the graphic Terminal

End the logon terminal session:
Exit
Logout
