Use a USB flash drive to install the debian basic system-the Linux Release Technology-Debian information. For more information, see the following. A few days ago, when the entire machine broke down, a former installation of the Red Flag LINUX3.0, suddenly had the idea of using a USB flash disk to install a single system of debian.
Tools:
USB flash drives larger than 108 MB (because the basic system image has MB)
Grub for dos
Vmlinuz initrd.gz
Basic System Image
Steps:
1. save vmlinuz 、initrd.gz and grub for dos to disk A or disk C (where dos can be accessed). for the convenience of input, it is recommended to save the data in the same location. In this example, the data is stored in C: \ boot.
2. Save the basic system image to the USB flash disk and insert it into the USB port.
3. Start to the dos real-time mode and enter the grub directory (in this example, C: \ boot and execute the grub program.
4. Execute the following statement in grub
Grub & gt; kernel (hd0, 0)/boot/vmlinuz root =/dev/ram ramdisk_size = 11000 devfs = mount, dall
Grub> initrd (hd0, 0)/boot/initrd.gz
Grub> boot
5. Next, proceed step by step according to the installation wizard.
Note: (hd0, 0) is the first partition of the first hard disk. The ramdisk_size is adjusted according to your actual memory. If the response is stopped midway through the installation guide, Please reduce the value.
