Using XP system to solve network fault with self-Network Diagnostics program

In the rapid development of the Internet today, the network has become an indispensable part of our daily life. When you are surfing the Internet at the same time, your computer will inevitably have such a network failure, on the network, how to find these network failures? It's really a difficult problem for beginners, but it's not as difficult as it seems to be, because Windows XP provides a very handy and useful network Diagnostics tool that allows you to perform multiple tests, gather different information, and, depending on the scanning options you choose, Network Diagnostics Scan System to see if you have a network connection, and whether the programs and services associated with the network are running. It also collects basic information about your computer.

The running process is as follows:

(1) Click "Start/Control Panel/network Connection" to open the Control Panel window.

(2) Click the "Network Troubleshooter" option on the left side of the window (Figure 1).

(3) You can choose to click on the menu according to the problem you already know in the new window, if you don't know anything, it is recommended to select "Diagnose network configuration and run automatic network test".

(4) Click on the "Scan your system" item, you can network diagnostics on the current system. However, it is recommended that you select all items in the "Set scan option" before scanning (Figure 2), which will give you more information about Network Diagnostics and help users to make accurate diagnoses of network problems.

(5) When you are ready to start scanning your system, the scanning process does not take a long time, you will be able to get a very detailed results out.

(6) In the Final Diagnostic Results window, users can see feedback about such things as Internet services, computer information, modems, and network adapters. If your system or network is normal, system-related feedback is "through", if there is a failure or defect, the system will feedback such as "failure", "Not Configured" and other information, click on each of the "+" number in front of each item, you can also see more detailed information (such as Figure 3).

Tip: "Network Diagnostics" is only collecting information on the computer, and can not eliminate the fault, but you may use the telephone and other means to your friends or professionals for help, so you can more quickly solve network problems.
