This error is reported when the centos system of our servers is powered on after the power failure in the IDC.
LFS kernel panic-not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on Unknown-block (0, 0 );
I tried several methods to solve the problem most effectively at the beginning.
The solution is as follows:
Find the boot disk where centos is installed. you can use a USB flash disk or a CD disk to boot the boot disk.
Select "install or upgrade existing installation ";
Select a language;
Select New boot;
Select the position of the system, that is, the boot disk (there is an sda and sdb, what is not repeated is your boot disk, do not select the wrong );
If you select a boot drive, you must change it to your hard disk instead of the boot drive;
Reboot your system;
Restart;
Okay. solve the problem. you can start the instance.
