VMware fedora 8 shared host ADSL Internet access

First, the host enables VMware NAT service and VMWare network adapter vmnet8 (IP: 192.168.5.1, mask: 255.255.255.0)

 

Open Virtual Network editor → Nat option → select vmnet host (vmnet8), and write down the corresponding gateway IP address (192.168.5.2) below)

 

Configure the VM again:

"Network configuration" → double-click "device eth0" → set the IP address to 192.168.5.4 → mask: 255.255.255.0 → Default Gateway: Fill in 192.168.5.2 found above

 

Enter the corresponding DNS in the DNS option (varies by region)

OK. You can access the Internet ~
