VMware suddenly cannot access the Internet

# Ifconfig eth0

2. Do not set the default route (GATEWAY) in the system to be automatically obtained after the ADSL dial-up. If the default route has been set, delete it using the following methods:
Delete gateway = in the/etc/sysconfig/network file and run the following command as root:
#/Etc/rc. d/init. d/network restart


3. Install the pppd package
If the file/usr/sbin/pppd exists, pppd is installed;

If not, install the ppp-2.3.11-4.i386.rpm package from the redhatlinux 6.2 installation CD

 

4. Make sure that the following services have been started

The two most important services must be enabled: VMware DHCP service and VMWare NAT service.
