Wang Xudong said that in 2002, the Chinese government issued a frequency plan and then conducted a large-scale global 3G technology test. There are world-renowned top technology manufacturers and operators. This experiment was organized based on the principles of fairness and impartiality, and laid a good foundation for the maturity of 3G technology.
In terms of the 3G standard selection, Wang Xudong said that China's 3G technology selection is determined by market rules. Among them, China's proposed TD-SCDMA is also an international standard of 3G technology, this standard has been supported by the world.
