Why the actual capacity of the hard disk differs from the capacity purchased

The capacity shown in My Computer or Explorer is 1024 bytes to 1KB instead of 1000 bytes, so it is less than the actual capacity. This is a simple difference in the way that the calculation is different.

If your computer uses a fingerprint identification or system diagnostics to occupy a certain amount of disk space, the displayed capacity will be less than the actual capacity.

Because of the installation of the Samsung Recovery Solution, 5~15GB capacity is hidden because the recovery image is saved, and the capacity shown in My Computer or System Explorer is less than the actual capacity.

However, according to the product model, due to the difference in program size, the space occupied by the Samsung Recovery solution will also be different.

When you start the system, press the F2 key to confirm the actual capacity of the hard drive.
