Windows 7/8 Computer in the lower right corner of the network icon abnormal (Red Fork/exclamation mark)

Computer in the lower right corner of the network icon appears to be wired or wireless connected but the icon appears as Red Fork (Figure 1), surrounded by a wireless hotspot small sun icon (Figure 2), Internet connection Normal, icon for red exclamation mark!

Solution:

Method One:

Open Device Manager, right-click "My Computer"--"manage"--"Device Manager"--"view"--"Show hidden Devices"--click "Network Adapters" to turn all "6to4 Adapter" and "ISATAP". {...}” The beginning of the device deletion (right click Device, choose Uninstall), as shown in Figure 3 network adapter:

Close Device Manager. Click on "Start"--"control Panel"-"Network and Internet"-"open network and Sharing Center;"

In the network and Sharing Center interface, click Manage Network Connections;

In the Network Connections window, right-click "Local Area Connection" and select "Properties".

In the Local Area Connection Properties window, deselect Internet Protocol version 6 (Tcp/ipv6), and then click the OK button. (Figure 4)

Restart the computer network icon to restore the normal display. (Figure 5)
