Special identification
In addition to groups in the Users and Builtin containers, a server running Windows Server 2003 also includes several special identities. For convenience, these identities are often referred to as groups. These special groups do not have special memberships that you can modify, but they can represent different users at different times depending on the environment. These special groups are:
Anonymous Logon
Represents users and services that access computers and their resources over the network without using an account name, password, or domain name. On computers running Windows NT and its previous versions, the Anonymous Logon group is the default member of the Everyone group. On computers running members of the Windows Server 2003 family, the Anonymous Logon group is not a member of the Everyone group by default.

Everyone
Represents all users of the current network, including guests and users from other domains. Whenever users log on to the network, they are automatically added to the Everyone group.

Internet
Represents a user who is currently accessing a given resource over a network (not a user accessing a resource by logging on locally to the computer where the resource resides). Whenever a user accesses a given resource over the network, they are automatically added to the network group.

Interactive
Represents all users currently logged on to a specific computer and accessing a given resource on that computer (not a user accessing a resource over the network). Whenever a user accesses a given resource on a computer that is currently logged on, they are automatically added to the Interactive group.

Although you can assign special identities rights and permissions to resources, you cannot modify or view their memberships. Group scopes do not apply to special identities. These special identities are automatically assigned regardless of when a user logs on or accesses a particular resource.
