Before we start, let's talk about the type of system backup. The first is the well-known "Create System Restore Point", this is the simplest direct system backup restore, the second is "create a system image/recovery Drive", which requires us to be in the normal operation of the system, the first backup, so that the system encountered problems can be directly restored to the previous backup state.

First of all, we look at "Create System Restore Point", first check your system to open the system protection function, first into the computer system properties, click to enter the "system protection." To see if the system drive is turned on, if it's not on, then we'll click "Configure" to open it.

Then, click on "Create" according to the dialog box prompts, we can also enter some of the prompts for this creation of the title, so that we can recover at a later time to easily know the status of this backup. Here we choose to enter everything as an example, of course the system will add time by default.

After the creation is successful, click Finish. Of course, the more important thing is that we have problems in the system, how can we restore to the previous point of time? In fact, we just need to click "Restore System" in the System-protected dialog box.

After clicking, a dialog box pops up, where we select another restore point and click Next.

In this step, we can see all the previously created restore points, we can choose to fit their own restore points, select the next click, then start System Restore.

Before System Restore, there is also a confirmation step, in this step, just click "Finish" the system will be restarted, reboot and revert to the restore point just selected.

Note: When Windows comes with the System Restore feature turned on, it is convenient to create a restore point automatically as soon as your Windows is installed software or updated.

In fact, create a restore point this approach is relatively simple, then we have no way to boot, we can only rely on the reload system to solve. If you have backed up your system before then, you will be able to recover the previous system directly.

Next we will be how to do system backup, in this introduction we respectively WINDOWS8, Windows7 two operating systems, to be introduced separately because their backup mechanism has changed.

WINDOWS8 System Recovery

1, enter the System control Panel, select "Restore".

2, after entering select "Next", will prompt us to insert U disk, we insert U disk, click "Next" will be created, the entire creation process is very simple.

3, after the backup, we continue to enter the Control Panel recovery options, then we choose to "start System Restore" after the prompts can be restored to the previous backup.

Windows7 System Recovery

1, enter the control Panel to select "Backup and Restore."

2, after the selection, click on the left side of the "Create system image."

3, after the selection into the creation of the system image, you can choose which media to back up on, and you can create three options on your local disk, DVD, or network location, and if you back up your local disk, you will be prompted that the system letter is on the same physical disk as the backup letter, and you may lose the backup if the hard drive fails.

4, this time the system defaults will back up the system disk, and can also check other letter, to the other disk characters for backup.

5, the system will estimate the space needed, this backup probably occupy 19GB space, and then click "Start Backup" can be.

6, when the backup is complete, we look at the backup files Occupy 20.1GB, and the system estimated 19GB difference is not a lot.

The above is the Windows system backup and restore process, Windows8 relative to Windows7, only support backup to external storage devices, and ease of use is relatively good, easy to understand.
