Workarounds for CSS Page-break-before in IE8 non-compliant mode

Source: Internet

My project has added a CSS to solve the problem of paging printing

<style type= "Text/css" > @media print{xmp {page-break-before:always;}} </style>

Add <xmp></xmp> tags where you need them when you use them

But recently, in order to solve another problem, it is stipulated that IE8 cannot be set as Compatibility view, and that this method fails in non-compatibility mode.

Try to find that only using XHTML 1.x will have this problem, the specific reason is not analyzed, the solution has a lot

1. Without the style tag, add style= "page-break-before:always" directly where needed,

Like what:

<table style= "Page-break-before:always" ><tr>...</tr></table>

2.

<style>p.breakpage {page-break-before:always}</style>
