[Server configuration]
FC5 is running on the server.
Procedure:
1. Open/etc/X11/xdm/Xaccess, and remove # * # any host can get a login window's first.
2. Open/etc/X11/xdm-config and add! At the beginning of DisplayManager. RequestPort: 0 !.
3. Open/etc/X11/TPD. conf, search for xdmcp, and set Enable to 1.
4. Open the/etc/kde/kdm/kdmrc file, search for Xdmcp, and set Enable to 1.
5. Start the target instance.

[Client configuration]
Client uses x-win32 7.1 build1552
Procedure:
1. Click [start]-[All programs]-[X-win32 7.1]-[X-config].
2. Click the [Sessions] tab, select the [Sessions] node, and click the [Wizard] button on the right.
3. In the [Connect Method] window, select [XDMCP] and click [next].
4. Select [Query] in the [XDMCP] window and click [next].
5. Enter the Host address in the [Host] window, for example, 192.168.1.178, and click [next].
6. In the [Name of Session] window, enter the Session Name, for example, linux, and click [finish].
7. Click the [Security] tab, click the [Add] button on the right, and enter the host address, for example, 192.168.1.178, and click [OK.
8. Click [OK] to complete the configuration.
9. Click the [Sessions] tab, select the session named linux, and click the [Launch] button on the right.
