xenapp_xendesktop_7.6 Eight: Application and import license

1.  apply for a license

The steps for Citrix xenapp_xendesktop7.6 and XenServer 6.5 to apply for a license are consistent because I have previously applied for a xenapp_xendesktop license, and this is an example of a XenServer6.5 license application.

1.1 When you request a trial or purchase a Citrix product, you receive a corresponding email containing license Code, as follows:

1.2 Open a browser to access and login to the Citrix website, link below

Https://www.citrix.com.cn/account/toolbox/manage-licenses/allocate.html

1.3 You can see the previously assigned license on this page, if not, click "Not seen Product" in the top right corner

1.4 Enter the license Code received in the message, "continue"

1.5 Click "Continue"

1.6 Enter the hostname of the license server (not the hostname of the xencenter), note the case-sensitive, click "Continue "

1.7 Click "Confirm"

1.8 You can now click on the "Download" button to download the license

1.9 Click "Download" to save the license on the local disk

1.10 Now I have applied for 4 licenses under my account.

1.11 also download the Xendesktop_xenapp license to the local disk

2Import License

2.1 Open IE browser access http://192168.1.14:8082 à click on "Manage"

2.2 Follow the prompts to use the account Huangjh\ctxadmin login to the Citrix License Management console as follows:

2.3 Click on "Vendor Daemon Configuration" and tap "Import license"

2.4 Select XenServer license File path--click on "Import License"

2.5 Click "OK"

2.6 Click "Manage"

2.7 Click "Reread license File" (you will need to reread the license file each time you import the certificate)

2.8 Click on "Control Panel"

2.9 You can now see that the XenServer license has been successfully imported

2.10 Similarly import Xendesktop_xenapp licenses

2.11 Same reread license file back to "dashboard" to see successful import of Xendesktop_xenapp license
