Another VIM Tip: Magical effect of abbreviation

 

Firstly, Add these lines in .vimrc(Linux) or _vimrc (windows)

" Go word

abb goword !"C:/Program Files/Microsoft Office/Office12/winword.exe"

 

" Go IE

abb goie !"C:/Program Files/Internet Explorer/iexplore.exe"

 

Consider you are editing a ooxml file,and you would like preview the file. Now, turn vim to normal mode, type :!goword % . It's so simple.  Similarly， you can preview html file with :!goie command.

 

Although this tipis is very simple but very useful, enjoy it!
