   剛才看北京台的【五星夜話】節目中討論愛情這一永恒的主題時，某嘉賓在節目結束的時候朗誦的一首詩，感慨良多。 利用這裡的空間記錄下來：

而我卻撞凹了它

我拖你去海灘　　你說天會下雨　　結果真的下了

我在你新刷的地毯上吐了滿地的草莓餅

And remember the time I dragged you to the beach,
and you said it would rain, and it did?
I thought you'd say, "I told you so." But you didn't.

 

Do you remember the time I flirted with all
the guys to make you jealous, and you were?
I thought you'd leave, but you didn't.

 

Do you remember the time I spilled strawberry pie
all over your car rug?
I thought you'd hit me, but you didn't.

 

And remember the time I forgot to tell you the dance
was formal and you showed up in jeans?
I thought you'd drop me, but you didn't.

 

Yes, there were lots of things you didn't do.
But you put up with me, and loved me, and protected me.

 

There were lots of things I wanted to make up to you
when you returned from Vietnam.

 

But you didn't.

關於這首詩的出處：一個普通的美國家庭，母女相依為命，女兒的父親在女兒4歲時應徵入伍去了越南，不幸陣亡。母親一直活到了80歲都沒有再嫁。母親去世後，女兒在整理母親的東西時，發現了一首母親親手寫的詩，題目就叫《但是你沒有》。
