Gentoo核心編譯

1. 解壓核心源碼至/usr/src/linux-version

2. 配置核心

# make menuconfig

3. 編譯核心

# make && make modules_install

4. 建立串連

# ln -sfn /usr/src/linux-version /usr/src/linux

5. 拷貝bzImage至/boot

# cp /usr/src/linux-version/arch/x86/boot/bzImage /boot/linux-version-gentoo

6. 在grub中添加啟動菜單

# vi /boot/grub/grub.conf

7. reboot & enjoy !

【problem & solution】

1. 系統啟動不能：

/etc/init.d/udev[1355]: Error: cannot start udev as udev-mount would not start 

在進行核心配置時，需要勾選以下兩項

-> Device Drivers

-> Generic Driver Options

[*] Maintain a devtmpfs filesystem to mount at /dev

[*]   Automount devtmpfs at /dev, after the kernel mounted the rootfs
