雙屏、3屏拼接——A卡、N卡——Windows、Linux

“折騰是一種生活態度”。買了個顯卡，在公司折騰了下雙屏和3屏，記錄一下。

3個20英寸的顯示器，解析度都是1600x900。

普通雙屏：1個螢幕有工作列，另一個沒有工作列，解析度單獨設定，壁紙重複顯示一張，解析度都是1600x900。

雙屏水平拼接：通過顯卡驅動設定，作業系統檢測到1個顯示器，解析度為3200x900，1個超長工作列橫跨2個螢幕，1個超長壁紙橫跨2個螢幕。

3屏水平拼接：解析度為4800x900。

雙屏垂直拼接：類似，解析度為1600x1800。

術語表：

big desktop（大案頭）：即拼接模式，A卡在Linux上使用這個詞。

水平伸展模式（跨越兩台顯示器水平展開案頭）：即水平拼接模式，A卡在Windows上使用這個詞。

large horizontal desktop作為一個大水平案頭（水平平移模式）：即水平拼接模式，N卡在Windows上使用這個詞。

雙屏拼接的優點：《憤怒的小鳥》效果挺好（從一個螢幕飛到另一個）、戰爭遊戲效果挺好（《RUSE》場面宏大，贊）。

雙屏拼接的缺點：賽車遊戲沒法玩（因為車在中間被螢幕邊框分隔了。如《blur》、《極品飛車14》）、射擊遊戲沒法玩（準星在螢幕中間，如cod4、cod6）。

3屏拼接的優點：戰爭遊戲效果好（《RUSE》）、賽車遊戲效果好（《blur》）、射擊遊戲效果好（《榮譽勳章》）。

3屏拼接的缺點：大解析度爆顯存、爆顯卡。經實測，ATI HD 5670 1G接三屏，《blur》不卡（還支援區域網路）、《RUSE》不卡、《極品飛車14》偶爾卡、《榮譽勳章》偶爾卡、《cod4》和《cod6》能調到4800x900的解析度，可惜瞄準鏡還是變成橢圓了、《星際2》不支援4800x900解析度。

A卡 XP 普通雙屏：

1個螢幕有工作列，另一個沒有工作列，解析度單獨設定。

壁紙：置中或展開時重複顯示一張；平鋪時，可以使用超長壁紙。

在ATI 690G整合顯卡X1200，2個19英寸顯示器上測試通過，如下。

A卡 XP 雙屏拼接設定：

通過顯卡驅動設定，作業系統檢測到1個顯示器，解析度為2880x900，1個超長工作列橫跨2個螢幕，1個超長壁紙橫跨2個螢幕。

在ATI HD 4350顯卡上測試通過。

在ATI 690G主板整合顯卡X1200上測試通過，如下。

A卡 Win7 雙屏拼接設定：

在Windows 7上，需要ATI HD 5xxx系列及以上（含5xxx）顯卡，通過顯卡驅動設定，作業系統檢測到1個顯示器，1個超長工作列橫跨2個螢幕，1個超長壁紙橫跨2個螢幕。

在ATI HD 4350上測試失敗，右鍵裡沒有“建立組”。

在ATI HD 5450上測試通過，在ATI HD 5670上測試通過，如下。

A卡 Ubuntu 雙屏拼接：

在ATI HD4350上測試失敗。

裝了ATI驅動，然後想開啟big desktop，總是提示錯誤：Error: Options, e.g. --dtop and --desktop-setup, are not supported when RandR 1.2 is enabled!。折騰了一宿，沒裝上。

N卡 XP 雙屏拼接設定：

Nvidia使用nView設定雙屏拼接，目前nView雙屏拼接支援Windows XP，不支援Vista、Win7。

在Nvidia 9800GT上測試通過。

在Nvidia G210上測試通過，如下：

N卡 win7 不支援雙屏拼接：

N卡在win7上不支援雙屏拼接，這是因為驅動不支援。

有神人竟然突破nvidia的限制，在win7下實現雙屏拼接（large horizontal desktop）：

在Nvidia G210上測試失敗，如下。

N卡quadro專業卡Win7 支援雙屏拼接

N卡quadro專業卡Win7 支援雙屏拼接，“啟用Mosaic模式”即可。

在Nvidia quadro 600專業顯卡上測試通過，如下：

N卡 Ubuntu雙屏拼接效果：

1個超長工作列、1個超大解析度、1個超長壁紙。

我試了1天，成功了，在Nvidia G210上設定成功，如下。

步驟：

1、下載安裝nvidia官方驅動，參考：http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-install-nvidia-drivers-manually-on-ubuntu-10-04-lucid-lynx.html

2、進入案頭，sudo nvidia-settings，啟動NVIDIA X Server Settings，配置成TwinView，點“Apply”，點“Save to X Configuration File”，點“退出”。

3、sudo vi /etc/X11/xorg.conf

找到Section "Device"，加入一行    Option "NoTwinViewXineramaInfo" "1"

最終xorg.conf配置如下

4、重啟案頭sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart

N卡Gefore家用顯卡不支援3屏輸出：

N卡Gefore家用顯卡不支援3屏輸出，接上3個顯示器，只有2個亮。這是硬體限制，在任何作業系統上都不行。

N卡quadro專業卡大部分不支援單卡3屏。

N卡quadro nvs專業卡支援3屏以上輸出，有機會再試試。

N卡SLI雙顯卡 win7 支援3屏輸出：

SLI多屏技術實際上是NVIDIA的亡羊補牢之舉，因為它的GPU在顯示輸出部分和上代一樣，還是只能支援雙路Dual-Link DVI，不可能實現單卡三屏，於是只能通過雙卡輸出四屏，再通過特殊驅動的支援，將遊戲渲染至兩個顯卡的三個或四個螢幕。

ATI Eyefinity Win7單顯卡3屏拼接：

在 XFX 訊景 景鈦 HD5670 1G DDR5上測試通過，實現三屏，如下。

顯卡介面：displayport、HDMI、DVI。

顯示器：DVI、VGA。

線材：displayport主動式轉VGA、HDMI轉DVI、DVI。

ATI Eyefinity Ubuntu單顯卡3拼接：

ATI宣稱 Eyefinity 已支援Linux，參考資料：http://superuser.com/questions/95884/ati-eyefinity-under-linux

經過實際測試，無法3屏拼接，只能用普通3屏。

提交了bug，AMD官方回覆是Linux沒有時間表，請自行解決。
