Install ntopng on Ubuntu 14.04 Server

1. echo -e "deb http://www.nmon.net/apt-stable/14.04/ x64/\ndeb http://www.nmon.net/apt-stable/14.04/ all/" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ntop.list

wget -qO - http://www.nmon.net/apt-stable/ntop.key | sudo apt-key add -

aptitude update

aptitude -y install pfring nprobe ntopng ntopng-data n2disk nbox 

service snmpd stop
update-rc.d snmpd disable

2. ntopng -h

vi /etc/ntopng/ntopng.start

--local-networks "172.20.16.0/24"--interface 1

vi /etc/ntopng/ntopng.conf

-G=/var/run/ntopng.pid

service redis-server restart

service ntopng start

3. netstat -ltunp | grep 3000

4. 如有防火牆

iptables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp --dport 3000 -j ACCEPT

5. View the web interface:

http://www.domainname.com:3000
