The indexOf() method returns the position of the first occurrence of a specified string value in a string.

indexOf()方法返回指定值在字串中第一次出現的位置

Syntax

文法stringObject.indexOf(searchvalue,fromindex)　

Parameter 參數	Description 注釋
searchvalue 所要匹配的值	Required. Specifies a string value to search for 必選項。指定所要尋找匹配的值
fromindex 起始位置	Optional. Specifies where to start the search 可選項。匹配開始的位置

Tips and Notes

注意

Note: The indexOf() method is case sensitive!

注意：indexOf()方法是精確匹配的

Note: This method returns -1 if the string value to search for never occurs.

注意：如果沒有可匹配的值，返回 -1 Example
