.closest( selector )

Description: For each element in the set, get the first element that matches the selector by testing the element itself and traversing up through its ancestors in the DOM tree.

使用說明:

對於集合(set)中的每一個元素, 通過在文檔樹中向上遍曆這個元素本身和它的祖先元素,來取得第一個與選擇符(selector)匹配的那個元素.

舉例:

<ul  style="float:left">   <li >       <table>          <tr>            <td>            this is <span>[Span]</span> party.            <div>1                <div>2                    <article>                <span id="third">3                <div>4                     <div>5</div>                </div>                </span>                </article>                </div>            </div>            </td>          </tr>       </table>   </li></ul>

結果為:
