媒體播放器Media Player Classic

Media Player Classic Home Cinema，簡稱MPC-HC，是一款簡潔的媒體播放器，Media Player Classic 的後續版本，有32位元和64位元版本。Media Player Classic 是由名為 "Gabest" 的程式員建立，現在他仍然有維護這個程式。 Gabest 原先是以不公開原始碼的方式開發 Media Player Classic，但後來他開放了 Media Player Classic 的原始碼。

目前mpc-hc是一款開源軟體，來自全世界的多位程式員在維護這個項目。

MPC-BE 是從mpc-hc分裂出來的部分開發人員, 以俄國程式員主打, 重新編譯最佳化的版本.解碼器不同,介面也多有美化

MPC-BE 播放Windows作業系統的DVD音頻和視頻檔案。這個項目基於自己獨立開發的原代碼媒體播放器經典（Gabest）和媒體播放器經典 - 家庭影院（Casimir666）的基礎上。

MPC有一個令人印象深刻的音頻和視頻過濾器，這使他能夠播放幾乎所有現有的媒體格式。
