修改MySQL字元編碼

環境:CentOS + MySQL5.5.25a

1. 首先登陸MySQL查看預設編碼,應該存在Latin編碼,不支援中文

 

mysql> show variables like '%character%';

 

2. 關閉MySQL

 

# /etc/init.d/mysql stop

 


3. 接下來建立並修改設定檔

把/usr/share/doc/mysql-server-5.1.52/my-large.cnf 複製到 /etc/my.cnf

用命令:cp /usr/share/doc/mysql-server-5.1.52/my-large.cnf /etc/my.cnf

開啟my.cnf後添加配置資訊

在[client]節點下面加入  default-character-set=utf8
在[mysqld]節點下面加  character_set_server=utf8   init_connect='SET NAMES utf8'
在[mysql]節點下面加入 default-character-set=utf8

修改後的設定檔my.cnf如下:

 

# Example MySQL config file for large systems.## This is for a large system with memory = 512M where the system runs mainly# MySQL.## MySQL programs look for option files in a set of# locations which depend on the deployment platform.# You can copy this option file to one of those# locations. 4. 啟動MySQL

 

 

# /etc/init.d/mysql start


 

5. 再次查看編碼

 

mysql> show variables like '%character%';

 

註:即使做了以上修改如果直接資料庫再建立表,然後存入中文,取出來的還會是問號。

解決的辦法是:建立資料庫的時候指明預設字元集為utf8,如:
  create database test default character set utf8;
