oracle欲出純Managed 程式碼的ODP.NET，現接受小範圍預覽版本使用申請

早前在4月份，收到oracle的訂閱郵件，標題為Coming Soon: Fully Managed ODP.NET Beta，說將發布純Managed 程式碼的ODP.NET（Oracle Data Provider），並介紹了部分功能，英文就直接貼了：

 

Oracle will release an 100% managed ODP.NET version on OTN soon. Develop with the same ODP.NET APIs you always have, but also take advantage of the fully managed provider's benefits, which include:

• A single ODP.NET assembly to deploy
• An assembly compatible with 32-bit, 64-bit, and AnyCPU compilation
• Significantly smaller ODP.NET assembly size
• Simpler side-by-side assembly deployment process
• And more

 

昨日又收到郵件《Want to Join the Fully Managed ODP.NET Beta Program?》，在發布之前可以有一部分人得到預覽的版本，看來oracle對.net平台還是非常重視的，只是動作比較慢，部分原文如下：
