xl, unlike xend,
will not perform any host networking configuration for you.

這也就意味著原來的什麼xend-config.sxp，和裡面內建的各種vif-*網路設定指令碼都沒用了。使用xl命令，和xm相比需要注意的有以下幾點。

• Configure your host networking using the configuration tools provided by your distribution. (See: HostConfiguration/Networking)

• Remove any python code from domU configuration files.
• Disable xend startup script

• Use xl command instead of xm

  
  

  另外，xl缺少以下功能

  List of missing features from xl/libxl in Xen 4.1:

  • PVUSB (for more info see PVUSB sections of: XenUSBPassthrough)

  • PVSCSI (for more info see: XenPVSCSI)

  • Remus FT (Fault Tolerance)
  • VGA graphics card passthru
  • NUMA-aware memory allocation for VMs. xl in Xen 4.1 will allocate equal amount of memory from every NUMA node for the VM. xm/xend allocates all the memory from the same NUMA node.
